A Cricket Team First XI with 3 sets of Brothers and 2 cousins

Three sets of brothers in Zimbabwe cricket team

One of the rare features of the Zimbabwe cricket team which tour Sri Lanka  that was comprises three sets of brothers and two cousins forming a unique combination in international cricket.
In fact three sets of brothers played for the first time-ever in a Test match when the Flowers (Andy and Grant), Rennies (Gavin and John) and Strangs (Bryan and Paul) represented Zimbabwe against New Zealand in the first Test at Harare in September 1997.

The occasion became a unique one and a family affair when cousins Andy Whittall and Guy Whittall joined the three sets of brothers in a one-day international against New Zealand at Harare in October 1998.

The only three players who were without a family connection in the eleven, were skipper Alistair Campbell, David Houghton and Craig Evans.
